Biography
Personal ProfileYao Qingjun, male, born in 1968, has been engaged in medical aesthetics for nearly 30 years. Over the years, he has continued to study hard and now holds a Doctor of Medicine degree and is an associate chief physician and associate professor. Dr. Yao Qingjun graduated from the Department of Medicine (six-year program) of the Fourth Military Medical University in 1992 and worked in plastic and burn surgery medical teaching and clinical work at the First Affiliated Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University for 16 years. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine, Master's degree, and Doctoral degree in medicine from the Fourth Military Medical University in 1992, 1999, and 2004, respectively. Beginning in 1999, he served at the First Affiliated (Xijing) Hospital of the Fourth Military Medical University as an attending physician and lecturer and as a cosmetic surgery attending physician; beginning in 2005, he served as an associate chief physician and associate professor. In 2007, he became a master's degree supervisor at the Fourth Military Medical University. In May 2008, he was transferred to a certain PLA Central Hospital to establish the Department of Burn, Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery and served as its director. In 2017, he transferred to Tianjin Third Central Hospital to establish the Department of Plastic Surgery and served as its director. He is currently a master's degree supervisor at Nankai University School of Medicine.
Dr. Yao Qingjun's rich medical practice experience and plastic surgery clinical techniques make him unique in the medical aesthetics field. To date, he has received numerous honors and awards. He has undertaken municipal-level or higher research projects and published journal articles (two representative examples are listed): he has presided over one National Natural Science Foundation project and one provincial/ministerial science and technology key research project. He has won one second prize for science and technology at the national level and one at the provincial/ministerial level. He has published more than 30 original articles in core journals, more than 20 of which were as first author. In particular, he has rich clinical experience and unique expertise in aesthetic surgery, scar prevention and treatment, congenital deformities and skin tumors, organ reconstruction, various wound management, burn treatment, and treatment of skin pigmentary diseases. He has completed more than 20,000 operations of various types and more than 1,000 operations annually. Dr. Yao Qingjun is also honorary president of Tianjin Shiguang Plastic Surgery Hospital;
